Community Garden by Ros Crosland

There are lots of ways to get involved in the activities of the town council. If you're interested in making a big difference, why not consider becoming a Town Councillor? Email us for more information on the process.

Our new Volunteer Co-ordinator Rachel Gallagher is seeking a large number of volunteers to help run the new hybrid library (read more about this project here.) Her role is to recruit and train a team of volunteers that will support our experienced Librarians to keep the library part of daily life in Baildon. Rachel needs your help - if you are interested in becoming part of the library team and would like to know more, call her on 07759 104565 or email

Bracken Hall Countryside Centre also needs your help to open at the weekends. For more information, contact Richard by emailing

You can also help at Baildon Farmers Market, which is in need of volunteers on market day to manage parking and give out samples at the Information Point.

There are also many volunteering opportunities in Baildon. The Town Council is currently working with Bradford Volunteer Centre on a project to match volunteers with organisations which need help.

A great example of what local volunteers can achieve is the Community Garden on Hall Cliffe, pictured above.
