Baildon Town Council is made up of councillors, who may be elected or co-opted, and a small number of salaried staff, including Mark Scrimshaw, the council's Environmental Warden, who patrols Baildon on your behalf.

Co-opted committee members are also important to the work of the council. These are individuals from business or the community who have been asked to advise or bring expertise to that committee. The Farmers Market committee is a good example of one which gets things done with the help of co-opted members.
