Vacancy For Town Councillor

WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE A TOWN COUNCILLOR AND HELP TO MAKE BAILDON A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE?

We currently have a vacancy on Baildon Town Council (East Ward), which the Council will be seeking to fill by co-option.

This is a process whereby the Council considers applications from interested persons and can then select applicants to fill the vacancy. It is not an election.

If you are interested in becoming a town councillor, please request a co-option application form from enquiries@baildontowncouncil.gov.uk or visit the Baildon Town Council website at https://www.baildontowncouncil.gov.uk/could-you-be-a-councillor to view the Co-option Policy and download the Application Form.

If you need information about eligibility for being a Baildon Town Councillor or information about the role of a councillor, please contact the Clerk via email at enquiries@baildontowncouncil.gov.uk.

All applications must be returned to the Clerk by 5pm on Tuesday 9th July 2024.

Applicants will be asked to attend a full council meeting to answer questions on Monday 22nd July 2024
